Passenger Flow at Kalideres Terminal Remains Normal

Lebak Bulus Terminal Team Commander, Irwansyah, said that passenger density began to be seen from 5:30 AM to 8 AM.

"Travelers heading to West Java, Central Java and East Java have begun departing this morning," he said, Friday (3/13).

He explained that Lebak Bulus Terminal has dispatched around 240 passengers using 27 Intercity and Interprovincial (AKAP) buses to a number of destinations such as Cirebon, Jepara, Solo, Wonosobo, and Madura.

Irwansyah predicts the number of passengers will continue to increase during the day and evening, especially between 3 PM and 6 PM.

"The increase in passengers is expected to increase as the peak of the homecoming flow approaches, around March 15 to 16, 2026," he explained.

To support the smooth flow of homecoming travelers, Irawansyah added, the terminal has also activated a Lebaran transportation service post involving various related elements, including health workers.

"Starting today, we have activated the post. This post maintains a conducive situation, allowing passengers to travel safely and comfortably," he added.

Meanwhile, one of the travelers to Cirebon, Asep Saepudin, admitted that he deliberately left early to avoid traffic jams during the peak homecoming flow.

"My work in Jakarta is finished, so I'm going home early to spend more time with my family in the village," he admitted.
